hardpops (that’s a lower case h for you) are alcoholic freezies made from 100% natural flavours and colours designed for Millenials. They were looking for a robust media plan to launch their boozy pops in the US. The campaign targeted millennial nostalgia to remind people that they don’t have to age out of ice-ops, in fact, these ice pops are just as grown up as they are.

Our media strategy spanned digital, social, OOH, and print, targeting spring breakers. the result is fun, nostalgic creative with a nod to the millennial ennui that stops us letting go of anything we enjoyed as children. It’s like the Backstreet Boys if the Backstreet Boys were an alcohol freezie that is mojito flavoured but made with wine (DON’T THINK ABOUT IT TOO MUCH, JUST ENJOY YOUR FREEZIE, KID).
